List of Candidates

Note: This is a preliminary list

This is the official list of candidates who represent ProgressNZ. It is our intention to represent the policies of the party effectively and spread the ideas throughout NZ over the second half of this decade. Upon joining the party, all candidates will be made to disclose their viewpoints on each of the party's policies, in order to increase the transparency of the party.

1. Hayden Laurie (Leader) Candidate for Christchurch Central

Note: will be standing as an independent candidate in 2026 to allow for the party to gain a bigger following before becoming registered sometime later this decade.

Currently studying a double major in Political Science and Psychology. Will be the electoral issues spokesperson for the party. Previously stood as an independent candidate in 2020, getting 93 votes (0.23%).
